Some resources may fit more than one subject. If you see a resource listed twice, it is NOT THE SAME LINK. The link given applies specific to the topic.
Digital Citizenship
This needs to be taught and reinforced DAILY. Kids may be "digital natives" but they lack skills in keeping themselves safe online and behaving themselves online. Please check out the resources in Nearpod first. Go to Clever and find Nearpod. Log in with your district email for access to all lessons.
Netsmartzkids.org - my "go to" resource for all things cyber safety. They have activities, eBooks, videos, music, games, and all kinds of resources that are kid friendly. You could use their cybersafety videos as a way to start discussions on online safety, or their games as a reinforcement tool. Either way, the material is spot on and highly engaging.
Common Sense Media - another of my "go to" resources. They offer ready made lesson plans that fit a wide range of digital citizenship topics. Accounts are free and resources come in downloadable PDF form. They have interfaced these lessons with Nearpod, so some of the content may be found there first. I recommend the Nearpod lessons as they are interactive and you can see who needs more support.
