See saw resources
This page is NOT intended to be inclusive of everything Seesaw. It should be a great place to get started, though! If you see a resource that you believe needs to be included here, please send it to me via email. If you are interested in buying Pro for a year here is a benefits comparison with pricing.
downloads
I've created a folder in Teacher's Lounge with all the Seesaw resources that have been shared with me. These are available ONLY to those who are in our school. Please do NOT share with anyone outside our school.
Video Tutorials
Seesaw has their own playlists for video tutorials. You can do the "Getting Started" video playlists first (5 videos running about 35 minutes) then go on to "Beyond the Basics" (8 videos running about 37 minutes). You can share this video with English or Spanish speaking parents to introduce them to Seesaw. The only other language they have is French, which isn't useful at our school.
website links
We Are Teachers posted this article that can help you make a video announcement, send home a newsletter, set up video directions, create formative assessments, and tag student work with standards.
Distance learning with Seesaw can be found in this blog by Jen Schneider.
Crazy Charizma has some free word work activities for Seesaw on her freebies page. If you feel like paying $97, she has a course on using Seesaw. Since we don't have the paid package, I cannot say it will be worth the bother. However, there is also a "free" workshop you can enroll for on this page.
A Teachable Teacher has a blog that shows how to convert any PDF resource for Seesaw. It looks like she is on TpT and has a bunch of things for sale. Just warning you in advance!
If you are concerned about Chromebooks vs iPad usage with Seesaw, here is a list of 20 Chromebook based activities that work with it. This covers K-12, though, so don't expect 20 ideas.
